As black people we love our heritage; ancestor’s mother’s fathers, and everyone in between. But when does our loyalty run dry; we carry the burdens of our mothers mothers and our fathers fathers, and our people's people, but when is enough enough. We are almost loyal to a fault the no snitching, what happens in this house stays in this house, and aint none of your friends business. When do we need to tell someone, get help, or even listen to advise? When do we learn that the burden of the worlds is not ours to hold on to, and carry around? When do we understand that we will have to face judgment one day? When can we as a people look outside ourselves, and then evolve to greater hieghts; not just for our mother’s mother, or our father’s father, but for our people people's. We no longer live in a society where the forgotten have to remain subservient and docile. We live in a society that makes it possible for anyone to overcome any circumstance , but it’s up to us as black people to hold on to the good ,let go of the past, dream of a future ,and relish in the moment. There is absolutely nothing wrong with helping others, and being there for family. To care, and be of service to others is the only way to truly love another person. There is nothing wrong with giving back. Because we are all made in his image, and for God so love the world he gave, so the real truth is that giving makes us who we are supposed to be. But, how can we be of service to others, care for them, and truly give to them. If we are not complete ourselves, if we do not have a clear understanding of the things we preach. Do we then just take our ill formed opinion and miss judgments and pass them on to the generation to come. Therefore to create a society of black people; who are miss guided all excepting yet none giving? Just food for though
